Noticing the little things... Noticing the little things...
I've been photographing this family since their we I've been photographing this family since their wedding. Now there are three girls and a whole new chapter. This session at Taitua Arboretum was supposed to be a newborn shoot at home, but we pushed it out and I'm glad we did. The autumn light was perfect, the older girls were amazing, and twelve-week-old Elva was wide awake for the whole thing. Baby got hungry, Esther climbed a tree, and somewhere in between we got the quiet moments too. Sometimes during a session, the baby gets hungry. Sometimes during a session, the baby gets hungry. Same as a nappy change or a meltdown, it's just part of photographing families with little ones. We pause, someone does what needs to be done, and we keep going... all good. — Tony
