Why people book a maternity session

Most women don’t book maternity photos because they want “nice pictures.”
They book because this season is strange and fast: your body is changing, your life is changing, and you don’t want it to disappear in a camera roll.

A maternity session is a way to slow it down and say: this mattered.
And one day, your child will see the proof that they were loved before they arrived.

“Tony is super genuine and artistically talented. He is great at giving direction and always gets loads of beautiful images.”

Maddison Brown

The studio/outdoor experience

This is a session designed to feel unhurried and safe.

You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you with simple direction that looks natural and elegant, small movements, good light, and angles that flatter.

The style is fine art: clean backgrounds, intentional lighting, and images that don’t date in five years.

If you’re feeling nervous about how you look right now, you’re normal. Most clients feel that way at first. My job is to help you feel comfortable and create portraits you’re proud to hang.

If you need a longer guide, then I have a preparation blog post here

Your photos should exist in real life

If you’ve ever paid for photos and then never printed them… you already know how this ends.

That’s why my collections are built around a printed album, with digitals as an add-on (not the main event).

The real value is owning something physical, but digital files are included as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

The sweet spot is usually 28–34 weeks. You’re showing, but still comfortable enough to move and breathe properly. If you’re carrying twins or you’re feeling big early, aim earlier.

Simple and fitted usually wins: body-skimming dresses, a clean set of lingerie under a robe, knits, or classic fabric that holds shape. I’ll help you choose outfits that match the fine art look.

Yes — we can do a mix: solo portraits first, then a few with your partner and/or kids. (Quick note: if toddlers are involved, we keep it moving.)

Yes — but only if we approach it properly. Flattering light, good angles, and gentle direction matter more than being “photogenic.” I’ll guide you the whole time.

Yes — natural retouching that keeps you looking like you. (Skin cleanup, minor distractions, nothing plastic.)

Typically 60–90 minutes, with breaks.

Your digital files are ready 1 week after the shoot. Prints typically take 2-3 weeks, depending on the product.

Package and extra products are priced separately, so you’re not forced into a one-size-fits-all solution. You can view full pricing here: Pricing page.
