Jenna came to me for late term maternity photos. She’s a surrogate, and she wanted a way to remember this chapter properly.

We kept it simple. No location walk, no big production. Just my small studio, natural light, and a comfortable pace with breaks whenever she needed them. For late pregnancy, easy matters more than impressive.

We shot a mix of light and dark. The high key set is soft and airy with a gentle silhouette feel that suits late term pregnancy really well. The darker set is moodier and more dramatic, all about shape and expression. Same space, two completely different feelings, and it gives the gallery real range.

Jenna asked if I could soften a couple of marks including some keyhole surgery scars. That’s a normal request and I’m happy to do it. My approach is to keep skin looking like skin and make sure she recognises herself, just at her best.
