FITNESS Photography

built with effort, finished in print

You didn’t grind for months (or years) to have your transformation live as a few JPGs on a phone. This is a personal portrait session that celebrates what you’ve built, strength, discipline, confidence, and turns it into something you’ll actually keep.

Digital gallery delivered in 1 week. Printed artwork ready in 2–3 weeks. Want to see every other product and exact costs? View the full pricing page

WHY People BOOK THIS

This is for you if:

  • You’ve had a serious transformation (fat loss, muscle gain, recovery, postpartum strength, recomposition)
  • You’re prepping for a comp (or you’ve already competed and want a proper “final form” record)
  • You want content for a brand, coaching, sponsorships, or marketing — but still want images that look timeless, not trendy
  • You’ve never done a shoot like this and want guidance that makes you look strong without feeling awkward

Devil’s advocate: if you just want a quick batch of gym selfies cleaned up, don’t do this. This is for people who want a real result.

What makes a fitness session different

Fitness portraits aren’t “just headshots with abs.” The whole point is shape, lines, control, and presence.

We’ll build images around:

  • your physique (angles and lighting that show what you actually built)
  • your style (athletic, gritty, clean studio, editorial, or something in-between)
  • your comfort level (covered up, minimal, or competition-style — your choice)

No cringe “bodybuilder poses” unless you want them. The aim is strong, honest, and flattering.

Your photos should exist in real life

If you’ve ever paid for photos and then never printed them… you already know how this ends.

That’s why my collections are built around printed artwork, with digitals as an add-on (not the main event).

Typical favourites for clients:

  • A small set of matted prints
  • A framed hero print
  • A fine art album (beautiful, and easy to revisit)

Digital files are included, but the real value is owning something physical.

The experience (what it feels like)

Most people worry they’ll feel stiff or judged.

You won’t be left guessing. I direct you the whole time with simple prompts, micro-adjustments, and breathing cues so your body looks powerful and your face looks calm. We work in short sets, review as we go, and build momentum.

You don’t need to be photogenic. You need to show up.

Studio or gym?

Studio (recommended): controlled light, clean background, timeless look.
Best for transformation portraits and fine art-style images.

Gym/location: more atmosphere, more “real world” energy.
Best for coaches, athletes, and brand content.

If you’re not sure, tell me your goal, and I’ll recommend the best option.

How to prepare (so you look your best)

  • Hydrate and sleep like it matters (it does)
  • Don’t change your training the week of the shoot
  • Avoid new skincare/tanning experiments right before
  • If you want a “peak” look, we can plan timing around training and pump

If you’re doing this for a comp, we’ll schedule around your best look.

WHAT YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH

You’ll end up with something physical you can live with every day:

  • Framed wall prints for your home (the “we actually exist” reminder)
  • A small album that tells the story properly (perfect for engagement + early relationship years)
  • Loose fine art prints you can gift to family (or keep for yourselves)

Yes, you can add digitals. But the goal is heirloom pieces that last.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. This is about your version of progress. We photograph strength, not perfection.

Totally normal. We can shoot in activewear, lifestyle outfits, or keep it minimal — your comfort rules the session.

Yes, that’s the job. You’ll get direction the whole way, including hands, posture, breathing, expression, and how to show muscle without looking tense.

You’ll get a prep guide, but the simple version:

  • bring 2–4 outfits (tight + structured works best)
  • neutral colours photograph cleanest
  • avoid busy logos unless it’s part of your brand

Digital turnaround is about one week. Printed pieces typically take 2–3 weeks.
