A BOUDOIR ADVENTURE AT MAROKOPA FALLS
Jade arranged this boudoir shoot mainly for herself. Not for a partner. Not for social media. Just because she wanted photos that felt calm, confident, and strong.
We shot at Marokopa Falls in the afternoon on a mixed weather day, mostly overcast, which gave us soft light in the forest and a moody feel near the water. We started on a forest walk nearby, using the bush as a quiet space to warm up. Simple prompts, slow movement, and time to settle, because confidence photographs best when it is not forced.
Then we reached the falls and everything changed. The place is huge. Loud. Powerful. And getting some of these frames took real effort. Wet rocks, slippery footing, mist in the air, and a lot of careful steps. Jade was genuinely brave getting as close as she did, and that bravery is all over the final images. Calm face, controlled posture, no chaos. Just presence.
She brought three lingerie sets and I saw them for the first time on the day, so we built the shoot around what suited the location and the mood in the moment. That mix of planning and spontaneity is what made the set feel alive.
When I sent her the gallery, her response said it all: “Oh my god. Some of these are insane.”
Next step is deciding how these live in the real world. An album would tell the full story from forest to falls, and there are several hero images here that would be unreal as a framed print.
If you’re thinking about boudoir but you want it to feel calm, guided, and private, reach out. I’ll explain exactly how it works, and we’ll plan something that fits you. And just a reminder… your images are private by default, and anything shared publicly is only with approval.
